About Us
ITAINNOVA is the Technological Institute of Aragon, a Technological Center with its own legal personality, non-profit making and whose purposes are of general interest, legally constituted at the initiative of the Government of Aragon in 1984 and chaired by the Department of Science, University and Society of the Knowledge of the Government of Aragon, which also has the recognition of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities as the Office of Technology Transfer (no 147). The mission of ITAINNOVA is to help companies and promote the technological possibilities of this region, to develop new products and processes, in order to boost competitiveness in the European Union. It is a public body dedicated to research in three areas: regional, national and European.
With a workforce of 230 employees, mostly highly qualified professionals, this center, with locations in Zaragoza and Huesca, is contributing to gender equality in contracts and serving as a talent pool in Aragon.
ITAINNOVA’s commitment to research extends to various sectors including agri-food, automotive, and renewable energy, fostering innovation and technological development to address industry challenges and enhance competitiveness in both regional and international markets.
